"Best Lodging Experience Ever!..." October 2017
In all the accommodations I've ever had, this was the best anywhere! CeCe and I had a wonderful experience here. We didn't meet Bailey, but he was so nice and accommodating over the phone. Debbie is the best hostess you could ask for! Home Sweet Home Bed and Breakfast is definitely the best thing we experienced in Paris. It's a beautiful and cozy home with a lot of space. We stayed in the Rose Room, which is right next to the front door. The front porch was cool, too! We spent some time there Friday night and Saturday morning. We absolutely loved our stay here! If we ever find ourselves anywhere near this part of TN again, we will definitely stay here. It would be worth it to visit Paris, TN again just to stay here! - Valerie
"Fabulous family bed and breakfast..." July 2017
We were in west Tennessee for a family get together, and this bed and breakfast was the perfect central location for our families. We rented all three of the beautiful bedrooms, and we also had access to the spacious living and dining rooms as well. This became the central location of our one day "family reunion", and everyone from around Henry County was amazed at this lovely house! The front porch was amazing--it was our favorite morning coffee and late evening card game area. Debbie was a fabulous host. She went out of her way every day to make sure our needs were met in any way possible. Her breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. She checked on us during the day, and she became part of our family before we departed. We have already booked again for next year. Bailey was more than accommodating to our needs. I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough. To be honest, it was more than I could have ever imagined for a small community like Paris, Tennessee.
"A Bright Light of Paris...” December 2017
My son and I stopped in Paris during a Civil War road trip. Home Sweet Home could not have been better. Setting, people and ambience was perfect. High heat and humidity made sitting on the old-school screened porch perfect. Bailey was friendly and engaging, explaining a bit of Paris' history and current situation. Debbie, who provided breakfast for us, personifies charm and good humor, making for a lively start to the day. Came away from our time with them having a clearer perspective on folks in west Tennessee.
"Beautiful historic home with amazing hosts!..." August 2017
Me, my husband, and our three-year-old stayed in the Paris Suite at Home Sweet Home on our most recent vacation. I love historic homes and so this home, built in 1909 was really beautiful. We loved Debbie and Bailey, who took such good care of us, really making our stay nice. We loved watching and listening to the birds that surround the bed and breakfast, including right outside the window as we were eating breakfast, that we saw Bailey feeding each morning, and Debbie was so sweet taking care of us every morning at breakfast, even making mini- pancakes for my daughter, which she loved. They made sure that any requests we had were met, including Debbie going to the local dollar store to get my daughter some bubble bath when she wanted to take a bath in the antique claw foot bath tub down in the Rose Room. The Paris Suite was a perfect setting for our family and my active three-year-old to have plenty of room to run around in, and she loved the window alcove, calling it her "treehouse," and we also loved rocking in the rocking chairs, and playing board games on the little table on the screened in front porch. So glad we stayed here, and got to meet these wonderful people and see this beautiful home. Very nice and relaxing stay.
