Of fire stations, broken bridges, and Fish Frys…
First may we express appreciation to the City of Paris management for deciding to construct a new Fire Department station presence in the downtown area. The residents and business around the Square, the residents of Porter Court and of course the residents of West Paris are excited to know fire coverage is closer to their homes and businesses than first thought. Me too. Thank you!
A new City Hall, a new Police Department, and a new fire station… wow. Thanks to new federal USDA Rural Development money grants this is a real boon to our community. Thanks to the Paris PI for detail.
The info regarding the fire station is particularly good news to the citizens of West Paris. The bridge over this now tranquil creek, not so when the rains come, running under Rison St connecting Market St and Hwy 69 has been out for quite some time now with no ‘fix-date’ known. So again thanks for the continued Fire Station presence in downtown.
HSHBnB had a 10 year guest here at HSHBnB for Fish Fry again this year. Charles and his family have become friends from Port Angeles, WA. They come to visit and reunion with family during the last week of April. Also Ms Barbara W visits her family and reunions at FF time as well. This was her fourth consecutive year.
Good job to all the Fish Fry organizers, participants, and the Chamber of Commerce and Paris, TN JayCees.
